Systems Engineering

AHT’s system engineering practices cover moving projects from concept to planning to development to deployment to end-of-life.

We focus on defining customer needs and documenting requirements as early as possible in the process. With each phase we focus on validating each output to ensure alignment with project objectives. This, combined with our structured process management, provides anticipated, well-organized, and fruitful outcomes. We also focus on optimization during the engineering process to maximize organizational ROI. Our system engineers understand deploying mission critical systems, alignment with existing architectures, operational requirements, multifaceted security policies, and logistical challenges. AHT provides systems engineering support to customers in the following domains: Requirements Engineering, Quality Assurance, Systems Integration/Design/Analysis, Architectural Framework Development and Review.

FME is an enterprise data transfer and transformation tool that focuses exclusively on integration of spatial data (CAD, BIM or GIS).Federal Agencies are using FME to validate building floor plans and create Occupancy Agreement drawings for high quality results. Our team has the ability  to utilize the appliance in communication between GIS and NCMMS and Ecodomus. Our team can provide business value by providing workspaces in FME Server that will facilitate migration drawings between different systems as well as a gateway that enables on-the-fly transformations of CAD, BIM, and GIS data for integration. Our team has more than 10 years of experience developing ETLs and data migration scripts for enterprise solutions. Our engineers have detailed knowledge and practical experience of the FME suite of tools including both server (Flow) and desktop (Form) with significant experience of development within an enterprise environment.
